Another Baby is Born

Congratulations to my other sister Faith Melissa and her future hubby Jeremy on the birth of your wonderful, handsome  and blessed baby BOY! Mr. Casey Riley Spencer! He was born yesterday  10-21-12 at 8:20 am  weighing 8 lbs 3.4 oz and measuring 20 1/4 in.

Joe and I are so happy for you 3!!!

A baby is born

Congratulations to my beautiful sister Clara and wonderful husband Nathan on the birth of their second beautiful daughter Abigail Elizabeth.
She arrived yesterday at 10:39 am weighing in at 9 lbs even and measuring at 21 inches long.
You two are wonderful parents and I am exited to see what God has in store for this little one.

About Us!

Well just to give everyone a little history about Joe and I, I thought that I would do a blog about it. We met in the spring of 07’ and we were married by August of 07’. We knew that we were brought together by the Lord and that He wanted us to be married. So we got engaged after 2 months of dating and married 3 months later.

We have had a wonderful journey in our marriage. At the beginning we stayed with my Aunt Shellie and lived there for almost 2 years. She was so gracious to allow us to stay there and start our marriage there. In the spring of 2009 we finally moved into our own apartment in Powell. We were very blessed to find a wonderful 2 bedroom apartment in that area that wasn’t an arm and a leg. So, we have been in our lovely apartment for over 3 years now.

In January of 2011 we decided it was time for us to start trying for a little one. At the beginning of May we found out we were pregnant. And just as quickly as we were pregnant, we miscarried. It was a devastating time for both Joe and I and we haven’t really talk to openly about it. So, as we began our journey to healing I was lead to my new step mom as a person to help. She has been such a help. She suggested that we name our baby and have something with our baby’s birthstone in it. So ELI is our baby’s name. Also along the way, we have come to the relation of a wonderful thought. Joe’s Mamaw passed away December 2009, and before she passed away, she would always tell us that she wanted us to have a baby and that if it was a girl, she would spoil her! So we whole heartyled believe that our Angel Baby Eli is a girl and she is in Heaven with Mamaw. I know some people may find it different or even weird that we have chosen to do this but we have found it amazingly helpful in our healing process.

We have continued to try for a little one and have been blessed in other ways. In September of 2011 one of my co-workers announced that her dog has just had puppies. She told me that she was giving them away for free. So I called Joe and he said yes we could have one. So in November of last year we got out little Rorie girl! She is ¾ Boxer and ¼ German Sheppard.

We had a wonderful winter watching her grow and learn new things. As spring and summer came and went we started thinking of getting another dog. Well September 7 seemed to be our day. We found Miss Hollie Girl on Craigslist. Hollie is ½ Bull Mastiff and ½ Pit Bull.

My sister Clara, her daughter Kenzie, and I went to pick her up. She was so fragile and shaky. Well on our way home, Clara drove and I was holding her. We must have been so scared and car sick because she got sick all over me. LOL When we got home, Rorie and Hollie became instant Buddies! 

They play so hard and rough it’s wonderful. It is amazing how fast Miss Hollie has grown!

So that is our family as of right now. In some up and coming post I will introduce you to my sisters and their babies. Two of them are actually getting ready to have babies this month (the 17^th and 18^th are their due days!)

New Blog!

Welcome to our family blog. This will probably be used so that people we love that live at distance can know what is going on in our lovely little home/ life! So our little "Suph" Family consist of Joseph (our "Suph" leader :-) ), Bri, Rorie, Hollie, and our angel baby Elie. The reason for the name is because Joe is Joseph but we are all Suph's in our house. Josuph, Brisuph, Roriesuph, Holliesuph, and Elisuph! We will have pictures up soon and will go into our angel baby in a few posts, but we just wanted to say hi! 

We live in Powell, OH and we have been HAPPILY married for 5 wonderful and life changing years! We have wonderful families and friends that are so supportive for us! 

Also, I would love to share who inspired me to do this blog. One of my best friends Kylie Cooper, has a wonderful blog you must check out! The Blonde Historian She is such a wonderful young lady and such an inspiration!
